New England Quilt Retreats will once again be hosted by Marian Adams. Marian has been involved with quilting since 1972. During the 1980's, she owned Sentimental Stitches in Cold Spring Harbor, New York and lectured extensively on Long Island concerning quilt and textile conservation. Since relocating to New Hampshire, she has continued to quilt, conduct workshops and classes and we are pleased that Marian is joining us as our primary instructor for our retreats.
This year, Marian will help you sew yourself a Beautiful
Flower Garden among other projects.
Marian has had her quilt "Autumn in New England" published in the
British Patchwork and Quilting magazine and has won several top awards for her
many beautiful quilts.
You may take as many of the the classes offered as you would like. Some students will take all the classes...some use the time to work on their own projects. What ever you choose, Marian is there to instruct, guide and help you in any way.
This year, I will be teaching as well. In previous years, I had to be
at the store, but since we closed the "Big" store almost 2 years ago, I can now
take the time to be at the retreat and teach some of the classes as well and I'm
really excited about that!
