Greetings from Sunshine Carousel Quilt Shop in
the little town of
Grantham
, NH where we are smack dab in the middle of a
typical Spring day. It’s been raining for two days, minor flooding going on
and the hope of seeing the sun again tomorrow. The flowers are blooming but
are flat on the ground at this point. A couple hours of the warm sun will
help them stand up tall again and it does wonders for us as well.
Our newest Block
of the Month is ready to go. You can see all about it on our website and
choose which colorway (s) you’d like to make. We have two choices that will
finish at 12”. One is done with a collection called Briarcliff and the other
is from Storybook V which is a Thirties collection. The third choice is a 6”
block using a collection from Moda called Garden Inspiration. You can view
some of the 6” blocks and Briarcliff blocks on line now and we’ll have the
rest of the thirties on line just as soon as we finish them. This BOM
officially starts on the 31st of May and we’ll send you your block
kit at the first of each month. You have a choice of being billed each month
or if you sign up for the yearly membership, you save one months billing.
That means, you’ll get all 12 blocks for the price of 11.
For our in store group, call or stop by to
register and then just show up at either our
9:30
or
10:30
time slot. You’ll get your first block kit that
day. Make your block during the month and when you bring your finished block
with you on the next 4th Saturday, you’ll get your next block
FREE. Come to every session with your completed block and you can make all 12
blocks for the price of one. We’ll take registrations right up until the
first class, however, we will have a limited amount of block kits available as
this fabric is in limited supply. Join now and reserve your space!

We are sending out blocks, templates, finishing
kits and pillowcase kits on a daily basis. If you haven’t received some of
your yardage or Oops kits yet, it’s because we are waiting on Moda to deliver
more fabric. They have had an overwhelming response to this fabric line and
have had to go into another reprinting. On one hand, it’s wonderful that this
line has been so popular, however, on the other hand, we know you are
patiently waiting for your fabric to arrive. We have plenty on it’s way to
fill everyone’s orders and they will be shipped just as soon as the UPS truck
backs up with our boxes of fabric. Thank you for your patience and if you
have any questions regarding your outstanding order, please send us an email
and we’ll be glad to give you an update. As it stands, it may be 2-3 weeks
before we will be getting our next order.

We just received another shipment of
Hang Ups. The quickest and easiest way to display quilts and wall
hangings. Wooden quilt hangers that gently hang any quilt, no sleeves
needed. Comes in Ash and Black Walnut. We also carry Mini Hang Ups available
in Ash, for smaller quilts. Giving a quilt as a gift, include Hang Ups as
well.
